Welcome back to knitting! Whether you learned recently or when you were younger, this course is for you. We will go over the basics to re-learn or refresh foundational skills. If you have never picked up needles before, .
You will learn the basic stitches as well as some helpful general skills by working on a scarf. You may not finish within the class timeframe but it will give you an opportunity to practice your newly learned skills.
The necessary materials and pattern are included in the cost of the course and will be provided to you in the first class.

Lesson Plan
Class 1
- Learn knitted cast on, knit stitch, and purl stitch.
- Swatch
- Cast on project
- Homework: Finish casting on and knit until project is 3” long
Class 2
- Refresh skills learned in previous class
- Fix common mistakes
- Introduce ribbing.
- Homework: Continue working in rib pattern until the end of 1st ball
Class 3
- Learn how to join a new ball
- Continue project
- Homework: Finish to last row of scarf before bind off
Class 4
- Finish project
- Learn how to bind off and weave in tails
